Privacy policy

This policy explains how Md. Shakil, an individual based in Bangladesh, trading as Nuqta Icons ("Nuqta Icons", "we") handles personal data when you use nuqtaicons.com, the Figma plugin and the npm and Flutter packages. We collect as little as we can and never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address and profile picture link from that provider. We never see your Google or GitHub password.
- Purchase and license details: your plan, license key, order email, renewal status and the devices a key is active on (a device name you choose or one set by the browser or plugin). Card details are handled entirely by our payment partner.
- Support messages: the name, email address, topic, icon details and message you send through the support form.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs that our hosting provider records to run and protect the service, and to limit abuse such as too many sign-in attempts.
- Preferences stored in your browser: theme, chosen style and corner shape, and your license key if you activate it without an account. See the cookie policy.
We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
Why we use it
- To provide your account, plan and license (performing our contract with you).
- To process payments, prevent fraud and keep financial records (contract and legal obligations).
- To answer support requests and send service emails such as password resets and receipts (contract and legitimate interest).
- To secure and improve the service (legitimate interest).
We don't send marketing emails unless you opt in.
Who processes it
We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
- Vercel: website hosting and request logs.
- Upstash (Redis): database for accounts, licenses and support tickets.
- Polar (polar.sh): checkout, payments, subscriptions, invoices and tax, as merchant of record. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Polar has its own privacy policy for the data it collects at checkout.
- Resend: sending service emails.
- Google and GitHub: only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Google Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when fonts are requested.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We rely on their safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.
How long we keep it
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Purchase and license records: as long as needed for accounting and tax law, usually up to 7 years.
- Support messages: up to 2 years after the request is closed.
- Hosting logs: kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict some processing. You can delete your account yourself in account settings, or email support@nuqtaicons.com. If you are in the EU, UK or a region with similar laws, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Analytics
If you press Accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, searches, and which icons are copied or downloaded. IP addresses are shortened, and we never send your name, email or license key. If you decline, Google Analytics doesn't load at all. Change your choice any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies, and all traffic uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach where the law requires.
Children
Nuqta Icons is not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you about significant changes.
